Infamous punk rock singer Mike Ness of the long time favorite band Social Distortion is going on tour without the rest of the guys.
Ness’ solo project titled “Cheating at Solitaire” pays homage to his influences by covering songs and bringing out their sounds in his music. His influences are giants such as Jonny Cash, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Hank Williams, and Creedence Clearwater Revival to name a few. As you can see Mike Ness is going way back in rock and roll history to bring some of the greatest music of all time back in the spotlight (Not that it ever left).
The music Ness put together is mesh of country and western mixed with his punk rock tendencies. This unique sound goes well with the talented singer/songwriter Jesse Dayton whom will open up for Ness. The sound of both artists is great and the performances will be one not to miss. Get your tickets as soon as possible!! For show information visit Mike Ness on the Gothic Website. Happy Listening!!!
