Your Perfect Weapon
Your Perfect Weapon is Clay W (vocals), Josh B (guitar), Nick C (drums), and Scott R (bass and vocals). After playing in various punk and rock bands ( Dr Neptune, P-Nuckle, Deadringer, Faster Bastard, Wise…) in Denver over the past 5 years; all of the members decided to leave their projects and start full time on “Your Perfect Weapon.â€
Started in the summer of 2006, YPW draws sounds from rock bands like Deftones, A Perfect Circle, 30 Seconds to Mars, as well as punk bands like Rise Against and Strung Out. We are influenced by everything around us, and we don’t try to follow trends, rather we set standards for who we are.
Members have opened for national acts like, Slightly Stoopid, the Misfits, Authority Zero, Face to Face, Lost Prophets, A Wilhelm Scream and Death by Stereo, as well as many dates on ’02 and ’04 Vans Warped Tour. Members have also shared the stage with Denver acts like Step Short, Dork, Letters from the Front, Under the Drone, Bold Type, Reno Divorce, Five Style Fist and King Rat.
In November 2006, they enter Module Overload Studios to record a 2 song demo. They plan on recording and releasing a 6 song EP in mid 2007.
