Winter Solstice is a hardcore-metal rock ’n roll band from central Virginia. Winter Solstice combines the melodic catchiness of such bands as Darkest Hour, Prayer For Cleansing, Undying, and At The Gates, with the heaviness of bands like Until The End, Eighteen Visions, and Throwdown. The mission is simple. To spread a message of love and peace in Jesus, through hardcore-metal. Known for an energetic live show, they have made themselves one of the fastest growing metalcore bands in the Virginia/North Carolina area. With one label release already under their belt, and playing with rockers such as Between the Buried and Me, Norma Jean, Evergreen Terrace, Further Seems Forever, As I Lay Dying, Underoath, 7Angels7Plagues, Beloved and many more, WS has brought and will continue to bring…the ruckus
