Voodoo Brown

The Voodoo Brown sound is a tenacious blend of rock, blues, funk, and mile high energy jams. It is an ever-evolving expression of the music that moves the masses. Since it’s inception in the fall of 2001, Voodoo Brown has gone through many changes, both in the members that have played with the band and the music produced. With the current lineup, solidified in early 2003, the band is quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with in the local music scene in Colorado, due to the rapidly growing song repertoire and increasingly enticing jam sessions. The band consists of lead vocalist Jason Miller, bassist Dan Abrams, lead guitarist Chris Maupin, keyboardist Franklin Murphy, rhythm guitarist/saxophonist Josh Simpson, drummer Kevin Reitz, and percussionist Troy Trigg. Voodoo Brown has played numerous hotspots in Denver and the Rocky Mountains, and the fan base has appropriately swelled from a few close friends and relatives to diverse group of people, all wanting to catch a glimpse of the next best thing to hit the Colorado Jam Band scene.
