The Chemistry is a slap in the face musically. They blend powerful lyrics and heartfelt emotion into a Rock groove that has been a relief in the ears of those overwhelmed by typical hard edge screamo clutter. With a lot of music flowing in the same vein and sound, these 5 men choose to be different musically and vocally, while touching listeners of all ages. With only time and distance separating The Chemistry from everyone else in the world, they make it their mission to make music that the world has been longing for, while being true to themselves.
Since their start in early 2003, The Chemistry has not looked back once. The band cites fellow musicians, Third Eye Blind, Saves The Day, Radiohead, The Used, Coldplay, Bon Jovi, and Jimmy Eat World as their major influences. Taking direction from their sources of inspiration, and adding their own spice has made The Chemistry a band to look out for. They have been entertaining crowds of 50 to 3500 since their humble beginnings. They’ve toured with well respected bands in the scene today, such as: The Used, Story Of The Year, S.T.U.N., Yellowcard, The Beautiful Mistake, The Early November, etc.
As the band keeps performing, the fan base keeps growing, slowly trickling all over the country. The Chemistry is a group that extends lots of emotion to their audiences in their live show as well as in recorded form. With much experience, knowledge, and most importantly, heart, these five young men will be sure to make a lasting impression on the shape of music to come.
