The Casket Crew
Welcome, we are The Casket Crew. This site hopefully will bring
our music into the grasp of the people who have heard us, and the
people who have not. We’re a heavy metal band from Denver, CO
and we are comprised of three members {finally after a year of
fiddling with bass players and singers} James Rodrock on guitar
and vocals, Jesse Newland on drums, and last but not least “Black
Bart” McCrorey filling out the line up just nicely. The Crew was
founded early 2001 with guitarist James and drummer Jesse both
while in other projects. Later bassist Pete and vocalist Tim joined
the band but left after a year due to musical differences. By the skin
of our teeth we started our debut album with no vocals and no bass!
Luck was on our side, while recording at our much loved studio
{Motaland Prod. see links} Bart decided he would have the time
and energy to not only record the parts but join the band.
There are three songs we’ve released early with no
mastering just to give out and keep our name on peoples mind. The
early release is called “Three Free” and is available at our shows or
through mail just e-mail us. This offer is good as long as the discs
last.
The full length album will be out in early 2004 and will contain ten
songs including “Evil Act of the Day”, “Dead is Thought to be
Dead”, “The Journeys End” just to name a few. When this disc is
out we plan to play and promote the piss out of it. We hope to
play for as many people as we can, and bring aggressive music to
the people who crave it!!!
