The Calefaction
In early 2003, Nick Savino(vocals), Jesse Race(guitar), Jon Wells(Bass), and Scott Miller(guitar) began a journey. No one knew where it would lead to, but they all knew they were destined to make music together. Nick, Jesse, Jon, and Scott belong to a band called The Calefaction. Right from the start they began hammering out material, working on songs, and practising them at least 5 times a week. After getting some decent material, Chirs Brenson was brought in to handle the rhythm and percussion areas. Now a complete band, the progress could officially begin.
Though only together a year, The Calefaction have accomplished many successful shows, a feature on “Ruff Kutts” t.v. show, and a decent slot on the Ogden Battle of the Bands. With plenty of opportunities on the horizon, they are readily waiting for chances to prove themselves to the masses, and most importantly the fans.
When you hear The Calefaction, a lot of different styles can be heard, but to them, it’s all in the name of Rock and Roll. Their influnces range from Led Zepplin to Iron Maiden to Coheed and Cambria to Glassjaw to mention a few.
Late Last year The Calefaction Recorded a 5 song EP which is set for release in spring 2004. They plan to release a full length late this year.
