We are The Axe That Chopped The Cherry Tree from Greeley, Colorado. We can honestly say that we’ve never played a show where we haven’t broken something, (whether it’s strings, drum heads, mic stands, skin, or Jay J’s skull) but honestly, that’s just how we are. We don’t spam our band name out, nor do we “whore” on myspace; our “friend count” is unimportant to us. We just play music, and hope that you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoy making it. We do not have egos; we’re not in this for the money, fame or women; If we come up and talk to you at a show, it is because we are genuinely interested in you as a person, not as a tally on our list of contacts. We hope the same goes vice versa. Regardless, we are just five Christian boys looking to spread the word of God through what we love: music.
