Stygian
Stygian is an original melodic thrash/death band that as a sound completely new to the Denver scene. Our goal is to bring back the progressive thrash and death metal that the scene has been lacking for so long. Drawing on our many influences Stygian is the perfect blend heavy fast metal riffs with catchy and melodic guitar leads. Vocally we are a unique mix of both thrash and death metal. Formed in 2006 the band now stands strong with our best lineup to date and an ever-growing fan base. Stygian is for anyone who is a fan of bands like Megadeth, Children of Bodom, Iced Earth, Death, Evergrey, Wintersun etc. So if you like badass guitar riffs, intricate drum and bass work, blazing solos and heavy vocals Stygian is the band for you.
