Simplfy

Do you like rock music?
Well, so does Simplfy…along with reggae, R&B, no emo, hip hop, some punk, not really country, a bit of jazz, a pinch of death metal, a respect for funk, and a tolerance for acoustic thrash polka. Did we mention no emo?
Basically, Simplfy is what happens when you throw five talented musicians, with completely different tastes (but an up most respect for good music) in a basement for five months and let them jam out. A couple of power struggles and a few full moons later they’ll emerge with, (for lack of a wussy-er phrase) a musical potpourri of tunes.
On one side of the cube you’ll hear a darker, hip-hop influenced, rock ballad about a boy who loses his mother with “Therapy”. Then on another side you’ll listen to the punk/pop styling of “Movies” which takes you through the emotional roller coaster of a break up.
(Note: we use the cube reference as opposed to the coin because a coin only has 2 sides and Simplfy has oh so many more.)
But Simplfy doesn’t like to talk themselves up. They tend to let their music speak for itself. So go to a show and buy the CD or download a song and decide for yourself.
