Signal To Noise is a quartet of likely young gents from Boulder and Denver County, Colorado. They play Rock and Roll music, and have it in mind to really knock the socks off anybody whod care to listen to their albums, or come see them live. Their guitarists, Nolan Miller Aldridge and James Frank Tanner (vocalist as well), merge melodic, memorable hooks with brawny, architectural chord progressions, while drummer Jesse Dixon and bassist/vocalist Tristan William Shaffer fuse shattering cymbals and incessant rhythms to sinuous, stalking bass lines; to come together for a sound that hearkens back to classic rock while touching on the present, always striving for interesting, new interpretations of what a Rock and Roll song can and should be.
The Signal To Noise Band, as some call it, has been together for two years. Having just self released their acclaimed sophomore EP, Stop When The Rain Starts, they are working hard writing new material, with a full length recording set to come out late 2006/early 2007 on Eyeball Records. With plans to write, record, and tour until the last bolt rattles off their van, Signal To Noise is a truly excited band, looking towards a bright future. Most importantly, they are truly looking forward to knocking your socks off too, as soon as possible!
