RedLine Defiance

RedLine Defiance builds up the divine sounds of a band well equipped with a wide array of emotions and versatility. Every opportunity is filled to the brim, because what else is there? September, 2002; finding the right way to fit within the music scene came naturally to RedLine Defiance, being influenced by such music as Incubus, 311, Dream Theater, Metallica, The Used, Finch, and many others. “We all have different backgrounds, so we just put it all together and RLD is what we got,” says Mike. “I’m straight from punk origin, Emerson was a guitar genius following Satriani, and Brian had come with a funk, jazz and rock origin clashing with Metallica and Dream Theater.” Putting it together to make RLD’s first demo CD, the band members had to cram it in a practical jar, and just shake the ??? out of it. The four-track demo which included their former bassist Pat Casey, was completed at Rocky Mountain Recorders, which is one of the top professional studios in Colorado.
It was amazing to think that only three short months after the band was formed, RLD was able to complete their first demo that was truly good enough for radio play. It was then that RLD realized that they were about to unleash a beast for music lovers to feast upon. RLD continued to play gigs around Denver scene, and has become apparent that with each show, RLD is stronger and more dynamic, as evidenced by the crowd’s reaction. Early in 2004, part of their growing pains and struggle was to find a new bass player that fit the bands ideals. After two months of auditioning several bass players, they finally found the perfect match, Carlos Martin, who was a breath of fresh air for the band. Carlos adds a new dimension to RLD they have never had before, and comes to them with 12 years of band experience. The stage is now set for RLD to complete their NEW original 14 track CD to be released before the end of 2004. The CD will be a demonstration of the band’s, explosive energy, dynamics, and song writing skills. Their genre of music is best described as Alternative /Emo.

“Mike, Emerson, Carlos ARE RedLine Defiance!”
