The LCU is an up and coming rap group consisting of two main MC’s: Dapp and Dat Boy. The group also features a hype man, Young Vito. The group also features a new DJ K-Luv aka Porkchop.

Dat Boy born Joshua Edwards is originally from Denver, with roots in Houston, TX. Texas is where Dat Boy grew lyrically listening to groups like Ghetto Boys, Outkast, and Tribe Called Quest. Dat Boy’s lyrics will hit you with a flow that you will find more conversational than being spoken to. Go ahead ask him a question during his bars, I guarantee he will answer you!

Dapp born Caleb Young also originally from Denver grew up down south in Atlanta and a brief time in Arizona. While Dat Boy hits you with the smooth gracefulness of the tongue, watch out for Dapp’s fury.
With metaphoric lyrics it will be easy to lose yourself in his words, and then figure them out later and realize yes, it is HOT. Just remember you can’t see it unless you spell it D — A — P — P!!

Young Vito born Arrion Turner also originally from Denver grew up in the streets of St Louis, MO.
While acts like Nelly are thriving from the MO, you won’t catch Vito boasting about shoes nor does he have a “dilemma” when it comes to putting thought to pen to paper. With the confidence of both gangster and pimp he will win over the fellas with his lyrics and a pimp stare that will capture any female.

DJ K-Luv born Kenya Edwards now lives in Denver, originally from Virginia. The master turntablist is a mixologist of sorts flipping beats from sources you would never think of. Working his way up the past 5 years from house parties, to college step shows he is now ready to lace beats to compliment the style of the three MC’s. What do you get when you flip the theme from “Nightmare before Christmas” and Aaliyah?
