Hour Cast

SELF-TITLED EP IN-STORES NOW

Patrick McBride: Vocals
David Henriquez: Guitars
David Sullivan: Bass
Jerry Clews: Drums

And so begins the story of Boston, Massachusetts’ HOUR CAST…A group of musicians from the corners of the world with similar influences, musical backgrounds and drummer JERRY CLEWS painstaking search to ensure that he found collaborators to come together musically and break away from the music industry standards.

Guitar player and songwriter DAVID HENRIQUEZ, was raised in Massachusetts by Ecuadorian parents. Henriquez’s interest in both East Coast metal and trance music formed an instant bond between Jerry and Dave. The two began to develop their music and it became apparent that a front man was needed to lead the charge.

After months of conventional searching and auditions, they found their man in PATRICK MCBRIDE. McBride’s unique voice and diverse musical background set the tone for things to come. His writing immediately implanted a new dimension to the music with hook-laden, melodic, and memorable vocals.

Now with three quarters of the team in place, an anchorman was needed. Henriquez had collaborated in the past with close friend DAVID SULLIVAN, a proficient bass player, and both had hoped that their paths would cross again sometime in the future. The moment had arrived and the HOUR CAST circle was complete.

HOUR CAST’s auspicious self-titled debut EP is a composite of East Coast metal, cutting-edge electronica, and melodic yet unsettling vocals. From the self-loathing “Smash Up” to the introspective and detached “This Life,” each track sets a mood of its own.

At a time when the world is in turmoil and the foundations of the music industry are crumbling down, Hour Cast have set their sights on the big time, but for now it is one song, one show, and one fan at a time.

HOUR CAST’s self-titled EP on Alkamedia Records is available February 8th at Newbury Comics, Strawberries, FYE and Tower store locations.
