Brother duos have been a staple throughout folk, country and pop history, but there haven’t been many identical twin acts. That’s where Evan and Jaron Lowenstein come in. The Atlanta-based folk-pop duo may have a unique visual gimmick that seduces the media (even if the brothers made it a point not to promote their twinhood), but it’s their blend of classic melodic songwriting and irreverent humor that earned them a cult following in the late ’90s.
