Emergence
Words are somewhat inadequate to the task of illuminating the true nature of Emergence. More than just a band, Emergence is a movement, a philosophy, and to some— a diabolical plot to seize the hearts and minds of our young…but that is neither here nor there. As to the Prophets of Emergence themselves, the enigmatic souls who call themselves by this monicer: they forge the infrastructure of their artwork with equal parts symphony and cacophany, and then temper it with a carefully formulated blend of pain, desire, and pure atavistic fury. The lyrical content of their work strays from the lofty spire of social commentary to the deepest pits of human pathos. When they aren’t pouring their torrid secrets and gnawing inner doubts onto the audio palette and swirling them together into a non-objective musical holocaust, they are heralding the end of Western Civilization…with a smile
