Ember

Out of the ashes of some of Denver’s most progressive bands comes Ember. A collaboration of hidden talent and a shared passion for music brought this five member band together. This progressive melodicore sound was started years ago when three childhood friends ( Marcus Nero, Josh Tayor and Shawn Ratzlaff) got together and started playing. After searching through numerous bass players, the tragic ending of Qualm brought sought after bassist Rob Bellamy to the three piece. Talking one night at a show to an old friend Matthew Hergenreter, Rob mentioned the bands relentless search for a singer. Matthew tried out the next day and it was immediately obvious that Ember was complete. It didn’t take long for the chemistry of all five members’ technical music backgrounds to create the new and unique sound that is Ember.
Currently on the rise Ember is rapidly proving to be a refreshing twist to the Denver scene. The undying love for meeting new people, and sharing their love for music with them, will continue to drive Ember to create their ferocious yet soothing melodicore sound for all to hear.
