DSA Jazz Workshop Orchestra

The Denver School of the Arts Jazz Workshop Orchestra is a 20-piece band that has won considerable national acclaim. The unit recently performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. as part of the school s recognition as winner of the Creative Ticket national award as one of the best arts schools in the country. The band is also traveling to New York City in May as part of the Essentially Ellington competition one of only 15 bands in the nation selected to do so. The band is conducted by Dave Hammond.
