Dos Locos

Add To Favorites

Welcome to the sick and twisted minds of two wacked
out hip hop rockers known as Dos Locos! Dos Locos is
the product of Chris Dellinger and Chris Yaws both
highly accomplished musicians in the rock and rap
world. Dellinger from a band called Blister66 and
Yaws from a band called DigSixDown. Although both
of the Chris’ previous bands were in the rap/metal
type category, Dos is pretty much straight up hip hop
with an old school flavor mixed with the boys rock
influences creating a unique and original style that
is all their own. We use the term rap/metal loosely
because they were doing it long before it was called
that and long before the market got saturated with a
ton of crappy bands adopting that style because it was
the in thing at the time. So for both of the Chris’

going straight up hip hop with Dos Locos is kind of a
nice big middle finger in the air to the “rap/metal”
community and a polite way of saying yes we can rap,
yes we can do it better than you, and yes we don’t
need a band behind us to prove that!
To show that the guys have always been at the top of
their game some of their previous accomplishments
include with Blister66: Many appearances on festival
tours such as the Warp Tour, KTCL Big Adventure, KBPI
Mistle Toe Jam, 5 time Westward Music Award Winners,
and being signed to European Label MTM. With Dig Six: Nationwide tour with Psychopathic Records recording artist Twiztid, much label interest, and Yaws producing for Vomit Records. In other words these boys have played in the big leagues and don’t screw around.
All that aside, the Loco Boys actually got their
start doing Dos Locos as kind of a joke for a Halloween
show in Denver in 2002. The guys put their bands
aside for a minute and Yaws programmed a bunch beats
and the two started just shooting off at the mouth
with whatever came to mind. What the two didn’t
realize at the time was something they were doing
for fun, and kind of as a joke, would really catch on
and they would become quickly known throughout the
Denver community as one of the wittiest and most
entertaining acts to be seen. After the initial debut
the Dos boys did a number of shows and then kind of
went underground for a bit while working on their
other projects. Due to popular demand and their love
for the music both Chris and Chris have decided to
bring on Dos Locos full force and are ready to shake
the ass off of the music industry. With subject
matter ranging from the more serious side with songs
like “Hell and Back” to the lighter straight up party
side in the song “Everybody Up” Dos Locos has
something for everyone. Not to mention an extremely entertaining live show where no one is safe including the Loco Boys themselves from their own raw sarcasm and willingness to make a joke out of anyone or anything.
Currently the guys are working on their debut album,
doing shows, and spreading gospel of Dos Locos. In a
time when music is over flowing with whiney everything
sucks type music and watered down, fabricated radio
pop, Dos gives you the straight up, balls out, rude
awaking so many have been waiting for. We are Dos
Locos and we do not give a ____________!!!!!!
