Deadspeak
Basically the story goes like this. We used to be TRUTH. Truth was formed
around 96. It then went through a few line up changes and musical changes
especially with the different members. Time came and went and the only
original members were Brian and Eric. The name didnt come from them but they
had a pretty good following so they chose to keep it. Not only that finding a
new name can be quite a hastle. About a year or so goes by and Keith enters
on main vocal duties.
The band enters the studio immediatly after Keith joins the band. The first
demo was recorded. A young effort and it definately sounds like it but that
was the beginning. Exit the old bassist enter Than. Formerly a keyboard player
for death/doom band Forgotten Realm and guitarist for short lived death metal
band Wither. Almost immediatley after that the band releases the first cd with that lineup entitled deadspeak. Some songs were with the original lineup but it was a step in the heavier direction. A couple of years go by and we release 2 more cds under the Truth name. Devoid Of Life & the mcd promo cd With Malice A Forethought. Each album a little more heavy than the prior. We knew then that we were finally developing into a much more mature and talented band and finally adapting to everyones styles.
Enter Rick. Rick went on tour with us and up until then had been playing in a brutal death metal band called Soulscorch with Than. Than had wanted to move up to guitar for a long time and now was the time. Rick joined on bass and the rest is history. Rick brought forth his own form of speed and brutality and it was just what we needed. The lineup is now complete. Since Rick has joined we are prepairing to release a new 8 song cd entitled “My Blood Is The Seed Of The Beast” We also continue to play live as often as we can.
