Hailing from Denver, DDC has been around for close to 4 years now. Starting just in their teens, DDC has developed into a brutal killing machine over the years. In their short time they have traveled all over to play shows, been thrown out of an entire town, and killed by the infamous Maris The Great. With the release of their second album nearing, DDC is set to make the heaviest and fastest release Antidote Records has ever seen.
DDC has graced the stage with bands such as Unit 21, Frontline Attack, Chaotic Alliance, the Virus, Clit 45, The Lower Class Brats, Doomtree, Ecto-1, Diemonsterdie, The Hudson Falcons, Death Becomes You, The Clusterfux, Toxic Narcotic, Calabrese, Final Fight, The Exploited, Resilience, Intro5pect, and Municipal Waste, just to name a few.
“Buy this Album, support this band, and maybe together we can lead the fashion-core crap to its final resting place.” – World Horror Network
“Blood, Guts, Barbwire and Beatdowns combined with loud guitars, screaming vocals and blitzkrieg drumming have made DDC the new innovators of violence.” – Black Angel Promotions
“If you ever go to a show that features DDC, you better bring a set of brass balls and a bottle of Advil, cause you’ll need both. Guitarist Lascelle is known to run off the stage and kick the crap out of anyone in the pit. And i wouldnt want to mess with Reed either.”—Review by David Smith posted on Operationdiyordie.com
Musically, D.D.C. is all over the place drawing influences from thrash, Oi!, grind, classic rock, and good old fashion punk rock. There’s plenty of songs to smash a face to, as told by Neal Fischer when asked what the thought of D.D.C.‘s sound: "I don’t really remember…. I was getting my head hit".
Some other comments:
“You guys sound like a serious version of Gwar, except I think you really want to kill people.”
“You guys are brutal and bloody”
“Literally, just listening to DDC makes anyone THAT much more metal. Seriously.”
