Daysend
Daysend is a progressive Australian Metal band fusing an array of music genres to create a hard edged yet melodic sound. They are a melting pot for various musical styles and influences ranging from thrash to hard rock and good old fashioned heavy metal.
Daysend exploded onto the scene at the beginning of 2003 boasting members of various high calibre metal bands including Psi.Kore, Deadspawn, Redsands and Automation.
In the short time they have been sharing their wares with local audiences, Daysend’s list of merits already include national tours and supports for high profile international acts Skinlab (USA), The Haunted (Sweden), Machine Head (USA), Slipknot (USA) and Hatebreed (USA). They have shared the stage with Australia’s best metal acts including Jerk, Blood Duster, Alchemist, Damaged, Frankenbok and Dungeon, developing a solid following throughout the country..
The bands debut album, ‘Severance’, produced by d.w. Norton (Superheist) and Nik Tropiano (Chatterbox Records) is out now through Chatterbox Record
