“We never try to fall into any one certain genera of music. We play music for the music. When I set out to write a song, I don’t think about what kind of song it should be. It might start off as a total blues riff, but by the time Eric throws a bass line in, and Kenny puts his drums on it, it might end up being a Ska sounding song. This gives room for true music to ring out. When you try to make yourself one thing, or fall into one category, you lose the purity of your music. I think it’s important to let the music make itself, you just be its microphone.”
