Front242’s DJ set.

Front242 band members Richard23 and Patrick Codenys are presenting a DJ set “Live”based on their 20 years of electronic music experience.
This project, called Coder23, proposes a wide range of electro tracks and exclusive remixes built especially for their set with personal “Live” sampling played on top.
Mixes starting from the 80’s (including Front242 tracks) to the present, the common link—heavy, danceable sequences.
Technically, the performance includes a lap-top with DJ software generating the tracks and FX; a second lap-top with sound software for live sampling.

The result keeps the spirit of Front242’s reputation: strong and effective

This is not a rumor, two from the four Front 242 former members (Richard23 & Patrick Codenys) will perform a new kind of live: blending mix and live sounds. No records or CD: this is a new performance based on laptop computers and electronic music intruments.

Front 242 is one of the main name in the history of Electronic Dance Music since the early 80’s [Headhunter,Welcome to Paradise, Tragedy for You, ...]. As influencial as bands such as Snowy Red or Tuxedo Moon, Front 242 was one of the creators of the Electronic-Body-Music who inspired the whole Techno-House birth.
For this new kind of experience, they took the name CodeR23.
