Chesterfield is: Shane, T.J., Luke, and Jesse

In 1993, Chesterfield, or known better then as The Hybrids, started out in a little town in Northeast Wyoming called Newcastle. Originally the band had consisted of Shane, T.J. and a close friend and guitarist named Jason McDill.

After six years of playing together, tragedy struck when a family reunion turned nightmare claimed Jason’s life at just 22 years of age. That warm August afternoon in 1999 brought devastation to all of Jason’s family, friends, and fellow band members. But in the shadow of life’s new bitterness came new inspiration and the remaining members of Chesterfield decided to carry on their music in light of Jason’s short time on Earth. Luke and Jesse, friends of the band since 1996 were then asked to recomplete the group and continue the legacy of a friend.

The explosive punk/hard rock band is currently focused on expanding their fan base in their new home, the Denver and Boulder area. They have recently recorded a new six song e.p. and are working out a spring tour with their brother bands Stuntdoubles and Dr. Neptune. Chesterfield has played in such states as California, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, and South Dakota.
