Brightblack is Rachel on the Rhodes, Nathan on the Archtop & Noah on the thunderdrum. The last Rainywood show was Brightblack’s first show. These friends have gathered for song in different place for sometime. Nathan and Rachael began tunesmithing in the summer of 2001 in Alababma with other friends and organized the 1st ever benefit for the Alabama Green Party. Noah and Nathan collaborated in Humboldt County, CA in 1999 on an instrumental band that included violin, drums, bass and guitar. In the spring of 2002 Rainywood split a 7" vinyl record dedication to Kate Wolf with Palace Records Bonnie Prince Billy and helped organize a gypsy tour. The spring 2003 will find Brightblack on tour opening for Bonnie Prince Billy!
