Mixing traditional Irish music with punk rock, BLOOD OR WHISKEY formed in 1994 and are widely regarded as the first post – Pogues band to do so, pre-dating the current worldwide trend of Irish-infused punk. After having spent the first ten years of their existence honing their line-up and perfecting their own unique sound, BLOOD OR WHISKEY have found themselves extremely busy throughout 2004 and 2005. In 2004 alone the band had performed six tours throughout various countries including the U.S. and much of Europe. Highlights included a tour of the US East Coast with the DROPKICK MURPHYS as well as an encore performance of White Man in Hammersmith Palais in London, joined by legendary CLASH drummer Topper Headon. BOW recently completed a highly successful tour of Europe and now have their sites set back on the USA for 2006..
