Betty Dylan

The story of Betty Dylan—a duo, not a woman—reads like a Coors
Lite Theater miniseries: Vickie, a feisty gal with a tattoo, a
back-ground in acting, and a voice like a moonshine-swillin’
nightingale, gets misty for a complex Billy Bob Thornton-esque
character who goes by the name of Dr. Dan. Soon after marrying
Dr. Dan, they form a band and call it Betty Dylan. The resulting
music, with its playful boy/girl vocals and themes of sex, booze
and revenge schemes, is a tasty country-blues/funk-pop stew.
