Bebe Rebolledo Vila was born May 9, 1978, in Valencia, Spain. Much of her childhood is relatively unknown, but she grew up with two parents whose musical influences led her to create her own artistry. Bebe’s mother and father were part of a folk group called Surberina. As a young girl, she would sing around the house to her parents and, in 1989, she picked up her first guitar at age 11.
Bebe worked to develop her musical talent as a young girl into her teenage years. In 1995, she joined a group called Vanagloria. A year later, Bebe relocated to Madrid to study theater. She continued to write music during this time with one of her brothers who had moved to Madrid as well.
By 2001, Bebe had entered the Spanish singer-songwriter market and won a major contest in Extremadura for her music.
