Apsis
The four Apsis band members originally met during their years at Ponderosa High School in Parker, Colorado. Throughout high school, Dave played in the bands Elysium (with Cory) and Biff (with Matt). A close friend, Rita played bass in the band Pepper’s Ghost. Apsis didn’t come to be until well after High School, in August of 2002. With Elysium defunked, Cory and Dave decided to form a new band, and soon invited Rita to jam with them. Originally, Dave was on drums with Cory doubling as guitarist and singer. Two eventual Apsis songs actually began this way, “Acquaintance” and “The Calm”. Soon though, Cory surrendered his guitarist duties to Dave to make room for Matt on drums, fresh off the recent break up of Biff. Today, Apsis performs at venues in the Denver metro area, playing a diverse set list of original material.
