In early December 1997 ANWYL Formed in Hutchinson Kansas by Krom (Xaphan), Olc (Xaphan) & Mikai Tepesh (Epitaph, Enkil, Corpus Delecti, & Nephilim). Anwyl then recorded their 1st demo titled “Demo 98”, Later Re-released by INFERNO Productions titled “Realm Of Blasphemy”. The “Demo 98” was recorded by Chad Smith (Insin).
May 1998, Blaspheroth (Snotweb, Corpus Delecti, Enkil, and Nephilim) joined Anwyl as a Session Bass Player for the bands 2nd Demo “Inferior Molestation”. The promo was recorded by Blaspheroth. mid to late July 1998.
August 1998, Necro (Corpus Delecti) joined Anwyl as full time bassist.
March 1999, The band then recorded “Bloody Mary” By Chad Smith (Insin).
June 1999, Necro was kicked out of Anwyl.
August 1999, Anwyl agreed with NON COMPOS MENTIS Records, for them to unleash “Bloody Mary”, March 10th 2000.
June 2000, Blaspheroth joins ANWYL as full time Bassist.
August 2000, ANWYL agrees with END ALL LIFE PRODUCTIONS (vinyl subdivision of Drakkar Productions) to record a 7 inch for the Kult underground Label.
November 11th 2000, Anwyl Signs with the French Underground KOMMANDO Label DRAKKAR PRODUCTIONS.
December 24th 2000, Anwyl Records “Totalitarian Perversity” 7" vinyl for EAL Productions.
March 2001, Anwyl Conquers the West Coast on the “Totlitarian Infestation Mini-Tour 2001”.
April 10th, Anwyl CO-Founder olc quits Anwyl Due to “Personal Problems”
April 13th Blaspheroth takes over the Anwyl Vocals.
Summer 2001; Anwyl Re-writes much of their Newer Songs & more new material for the first album. As well as performing many, many fucking gigs.
August 14th 2001, END ALL LIFE Productions Unleashes “Totalitarian Perversity” a Limited 7" vinyl (300 copies), The vinyl sold out completely in less than 2 weeks.
Late 2001/Early 2002, Anwyl is now Taking time off from the road & is preparing to record.
March 2002 Anwyl Agrees with RANCOR RECORDS to release an upcoming live performance Limited to 200 handnumbered Cassettes. Performance is to be recorded & released later 2002/Early 2003.
June 2002 ANWYL Records their First Album for Drakkar, “Postmortem Apocalypse”. It was recorded in Boulder, Colorado By mastermind Producer Dave Otero at Hellion Studios. Watch for the release of the Cd/Lp later 2002/Early 2003.
September 2002 Anwyl Books their 2nd Tour, To destroy the East & West Coast of the USA.
October 2002 Anwyl Kicks off the March toward the Sacrifice 2002 tour in New York City
November 2002 after Very Unexpected Problems Anwyl Regroups back, and Prepares to Finish The remander of the Tour in December.
Jauaury 2003 Anwyl is now working on the final touches on the Layout for the upcoming album release in FEB. on Drakkar.
Anwyl will also be gathering the recordings for the Rancor Records live cassette release within the next few months, so expect it out soon as well… The Band is now taking much deserved time & rest to get their personel lives back together.
Work on Anwyl’s 2nd album for Drakkar is planned to start in Spring of 2003.
