“A Story of All in favor”

by Joshua Aragon(i)

Alright, so All in Favor as we know it today is a band that has been rocking the socks off people of all ages for a good two years now. But AiF wasn’t always like this. This is the true story of All in Favor.

It all started one lonely day in the young and gleeful minds of Alex Hesemann and Izzy Oggfried. The two lifelong friends began jamming during their freshman year of high school. The dazzling duo quickly became well established, and soon won first place in their first talent show. To them, this was a great honor, especially considering the fact that the pair were one of… one who had entered.

Although their first success was merely by default, Alex and Izzy kept their strides wide and their musical wheels turning. Soon after, Izzy changed his name to a name he thought would better personify the rockstar image. Now known as Jeff Moskovics, the toe-tapping musician found his place as the lead guitarist of All in Favor.

Alex and Jeff began writing music and decided it was about time to get out there and show the people of Boulder, Colorado what they could do. With Alex at the mic & guitar in hand, and the newly-christened Jeff at lead guitar, a drummer and bassist were yet to be discovered to fill the empty gaps. But, as with many seemingly important documents, like the Bible, there is a period of anonymity. This is true with the midsection of the AiF story.

FLASH FORWARD
Several bassists, drummers, and keyboardists came and went. A few demos and an EP later, AiF has its roots dug into the likes of Alex Hesemann (a.k.a. the Hesemeister) on vocals and rhythm guitar, Jeff Moscovics (a.k.a. Izzy) on lead guitar, Alan Nguyen (MEESAH NGUYEN!!!) on keyboards and backing vocals, Josh Aragon(i) on bass, and Tim Martersteck (the new guy) on the drizzle-fizzle drums.
