Don’t have your tickets yet to Puddle of Mudd? Waiting for the inspiration to strike to attend the show on Tuesday?
Here’s what Puddle of Mudd’s frontman, Wesley Scantlin, has to say about their their third album, Famous; it might just motivate you to check them out on Tuesday, the 13th:
“It’s about passion and writing music that connects with other people and somehow heals them. I really want to try to crawl under peoples’ skin and at the same time make some kick-ass rock ‘n roll music.”
Such songwriting has lead to hit radio singles, awards, and sky-high album sales. But these accolades sure haven’t changed Puddle of Mudd’s approach to songwriting or the music industry. According to Scantlin, “if it sounds good and it makes your skin goose bump-up then you’re probably onto something.”
We agree. Puddle of Mudd is on to something…good music and the originality to back it up. Their soulful lyrics and simple yet true life observations are proof of good tunes and an original perspective…..and everyone remembers this one, She Hates Me:
