This is the story of the Phenomenon known as the GENITORTURERS whose audio-visual exploits have earned them the title as " THE WORLDS SEXIEST ROCK BAND"!
The players:
GEN: Vocals, Ringleader, Instigator of Official Debauchery
Evil "D" David Vincent: Bass guitar, Upright bass
Bizz: Guitar
Originating in Orlando Florida, Gen gave birth to the concept of Genitorturers while in college studying pre-med.
The Genitorturers cut their teeth, honing their music and live show initially in the early 90's Florida "Hardcore" music scene. What emerged would be a band that would go beyond shaking up the house that "Mickey" built and extend to paving the way and breaking ground for performance based music artists thereafter worldwide.
In 1993 the band caught the ear of Miles Copeland owner of IRS records, who had discovered and created careers for acts like REM, GoGo's, The Bangles, Concrete Blond and STING. He was drawn to the band whose live shows were becoming infamous regionally and quickly sent his assistant Nick Turner ( former drummer for Lords of the New Church) to Florida to check out the band. Upon witnessing the power of the bands live show which included a music style which crossed over from hardcore punk into metal with industrial electronic elements, the band was offered a record contract and set out to record "120 Days of Genitorture".
Since their 1993 IRS Records debut release of "120 Days of Genitorture", the band has been covered by many high profile media outlets. Television coverage has included features on VHI, Fox News, Hard Copy, HBO's Real Sex and Playboy TV's "SEXCETERA".
With over 5,000 pages of articles, recent 2004 printmedia coverage has included a feature in Gene Simmons "Tongue" magazine and 12 pages in the May 2004 issue of Hustler magazine.. the ONLY multi-page spread EVER with a rock band.
In addition, extensive touring in the U.S., Europe and JAPAN have garnered them a devoted fan base worldwide, a growing number of whom travel to repeat shows calling themselves "GENHEADS" or fight tooth and nail when the band auctions off their annual "EVENING OF TORTURE" on EBAY. Lead singer Gen has even been the subject of a British release feature film "Preaching to the Perverted" a fictional account exploring her life and exploits.
Today GENITORTURERS have succeeded in making believers of even the stodgiest music critics who prior to witnessing them live had all but written them off as some kind of gimmick...."Yes, they have their schtick......but can they play? You betcha!. Their hard driving yet brutally sexy rock and roll sucks you in.. and once you are there you are hooked!
The bands most recent ep release "Flesh is the Law " is sure to satisfy any aural fixation and includes the track "Lecher Bitch" which was just featured in the November 2004 videogame release "Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines"
Earlier releases have included the cd " Machine Love" which includes an incredible remake of the Divinyl's hit "Touch Myself" produced by Dave Ogilvie(Skinny Puppy, NIN) and Rob Zombie producer Scott Humphrey .

The Dead Hand Projekt

Since 2003 Taury Goforth has been actively composing and constructing music as KiLLSWiTCH. This music was based in electronica, but focused in the "industrial" genre with strong hints towards destructive sounds of punk and metal.
In February of 2006, Taury started a project with keyboardist, Roger Jarvis, of Kevorkian Death Cycle named HexRx. In 2007, Taury's album, "X", was released in mid-summer, becoming a huge hit with LA industrial crowds with major songs "Dominate" and "Greed". Taury parted ways with HexRx in the Spring of 2008 to focus on a small group of tracks that he'd been working on while writing music/lyrics for HexRx...
Taury also, at this point, began work with guitarist Kyle McLaughlin. Their band, PunctureWound, breifly described here, is highly influenced by NiN, Ministry, Hanzel Und Gretyl. You can check their music for this project out at their MySpace (myspace.com/pwound).
Jason Scamara (DJ Liquid Sex Drive) picked up the drum sticks to play shows with Taury in 2009 under the blackcentr banner (blackcentr being named after Taury's song on the HexRx album, "X").
Later, Taury Goforth decided to (inevitably) move on with his songs for this project and create Dead Hand Projekt in early 2010. Original Live line-up included Tim Miller of No Last Resort (keys), Taury Goforth, and Jason Scamara (drums). Tim Miller performed live one show with this band, before leaving DHP to focus on his sound engineer schooling and career in this field.
As of Summer 2011, Gustavo MontaƱo (from RW FFW) has stepped up to the plate to fill the roll as live keyboardist for Dead Hand Projekt. Also, Kiel McLaughlin will be taking up roll as guitarist in the near future.
The debut album from DEAD HAND PROJEKT (self-titled) was released on August 17th of 2010 under Vendetta Music, as the label, and also now available, is the "Horror" EP. Dead Hand Projekt is blunt and in your face industrial with powerful words and aggressive vocals.

Arcanium

Originally formed in March 2007, Arcanium set forth to unleash an unabashed musical barrage on unsuspecting hard rock and metal fans worldwide. In their relatively short existence as a band, Arcanium has earned a respectably loyal fan base throughout the state of Colorado. Touring with bands such as Megadeth, Machine Head, and Bullet For My Valentine has also garnered them nationwide recognition. The band is hard at work writing for their next album as well as playing strong shows throughout the states. This is a band to take notice to as the world is looking for a band such as Arcanium.
Kontrolled Demolition

Kontrolled Demolition is a post punk, post industrial, and post modern
group that breaks all conventional boundaries for the goth industrial
standard. Never relying on one set formula for song arrangement
kontrolled demolition use many different ways of conducting sound in
the studio. Sequencing and sampling play a heavy role in laying the
groundwork for each track. Live instrumentation relies heavily on
acoustic and electronic drums. The additional live percussion creates
a dynamic that make the band's live shows very primal and rhythmically
heavy. Lead singer and founder of the project, rockwave reminds one of
a modern day al jourgensen, trent reznor, or nivek ogre. His
passionate song composition comes straight from his mechanical heart.
The band's live drummer and keyboard player pseudochris brings world
class hard hitting rhythm syncopation to the band's live performances
(and he is one of the hardest hitting drummers in the world). In his
own words, "my hard hitting drumming is all anger and no technique".
Kontrolled Demolition have been opening support for bands such as my
life with the thrill kill kult, icon of coil, and unter null. The fall
of 2011 brings many great shows for kontrolled demolition. Look for
dates soon. Finishing work is also being done on the band's debut
album which is tentatively titled, kollateral damage...
