Broken Laces is a young band from Parker, Colorado. They've been together for several years and have played at local establishments, the Parker Country festival and a host of other private venues. Most recently they won the 1 Liquid House, Spare Parts Battle of the Bands. They are looking forward to playing at the Gothic Theater and thank Synthetic Elements for the opportunity.

This is the call - a call for those who are listening. Give ear to hear the sound rising. Many are called but few are chosen. Will you rise? Will you hear? Will you answer? Come together, come with us, we will bear each others burdens and a new power will rest upon you. The power of the love of Jesus. The door is open - the sound and the call has been sent out. Join. Join the revolution.

Our mission is to answer the call and fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel.

THE BATTLE

The battle ground is in our minds and in the heavenly realms.

For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments that sets itself up agains the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. (1 corinthians 10:4-5)

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. (ephesians 6)
OUR WEAPONS The power and glory of Jesus For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power. (1 corn 4:20) Love, patience, kindness, forgiveness, gentleness, Joy (gal 5) The Word: The word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. (hebrew 4:12) Praise Prayer Obedience The blood of Jesus MORE THAN CONQUERERS ...in all these things we are more than conquerers through him who loved us. (romans 8) None of us can do it alone, together we will advance and expand the Kingdom of God and we will proclaim freedom and victory!
