Workhorse

Starting out in a basement in Jan 2002 under the name DeColo, the band rehearsed as an insturmental 4 peice, with the occassional vocal appearence from War Machine Shawn Joy. Then through the usual process of weeding through different players the band landed Animal from the muppets (Ross Miller) on Drums. Moving on to bigger and better practice spaces the newer formed four peice consisting of Rick Seitz guitar, Rand Olinger guitar, Eric Allee bass, and Animal, rehearsed at CGC diesel and truck repair in commerce city until they would eventually become a power duo. Ross and Randy moved to rehearse down town at olympic auditorium thanks to Jaime Slade (Audio Dream Sister), but after taking a break the duo would soon end up back in commerce city, this time with Eric Allee joining as a guitarist, and Randy taking a shot a vocals. Shortly there after the band again became an unnamed power duo, and would come full cirlce back to the same basement, Randy and Ross placed and add for shoeless bass players, but only found one, fortunately he could play, and loved music. Matt “no shoes” Young joined the band. Still one member short of the dualing guitar attack the band was looking Randy payed Jay Ditchen to come jam down in the basement Randy ran out of money but he like the music enough to hang aroung. Now only needing a name and a show. 12 days later the Band Workhorse played their first show at the Lions Lair.
