If there are some bands that are meant to stretch boundaries, T Benoit and The Shuckers is definitely one of them. The band has taken a no holds barred approach to producing original material heavily laced with rhythm and blues, classic country, and rock and roll.
Having been born and raised in the culture of south Louisiana, where music is as much a part of life as living itself, both Tyrin and Tate Benoit thought it was only natural to have music in their lives, and have been making music with each other since early on. Originally from Michigan, Chris Helvey’s talent and taste for music has taken him to play in many great cities of music, such as Chicago, Minneapolis, Austin and now Denver. With the ghost of “greatness” always haunting him, Chris has kept his music the priority in his life, and his influences of rock and roll, and blues seemed to be a fateful mix for the power -trio
