Snapstick Dynomite
Snapstick Dynomite is the newest monster to be ripping the head off of the Colorado Scene. Although formed in the later part of 2005 the members are no strangers to the music industry in Colorado or abroad. Having played together in previous acts and combining two of the most notorious bands in the hardrock/metal and punk communities from Colorado, Snapstick Dynomite is the just the kick in the ass the music industry needs at this point in time with music becoming so overly processed and unoriginal. Snapstick combines all of the music the players have been listening to their whole lives including hard rock, punk, metal, with a blend of alternative and grunge without worrying if they sound like the next biggest thing that is here today and gone tomorrow. I guess one might just say it is good heavy music and the listener can pick out the sub categories if that is really necessary. The quality is in the songs packed with emotion, attitude and timeless themes that can reach the underground as well as the mainstream.
Chris Dellinger a.k.a. Clem Idia is the singer/guitar/songwriter that brought this deranged crew together as Snapstick Dynomite when he decided in 2004 it was time to start fresh even though his previous act Blister66 had achieved much success. At times Davis (drums) was also a part of the circus that B66 was. Some of their successes over the years included: Playing with well over fifty national acts, including bands such as Sevendust, Staind, Puddle of Mudd, Suicidal Tendencies and numerous others, participating in several large festival shows such as the Van’s Warped tour, the KTCL Big Adventure(clearchannel), and the KBPI Mistle Toe Jam (clearchannel), headlining the Ogden Theater (nipp) more than any other local band, being five time winners of Denvers Westword Music Awards earning them a spot in the Westword Hall of Fame, and recording 4 albums one of which was for European Record Label MTM.
Davis, and Audrey Harper (bass) are no strangers to the big industry as being members of Eight Bucks Experiment enjoying many success in the music industry including touring with the Warped tour and D.R.I.. Both Davis and Audrey are accomplished musicians with Davis being a drum teacher and Audrey having a degree in music. Not to mention Audreys stunning good looks bringing in the perfect balance of good and evil to the Snapstick crew!
With all of this experience behind them, live energy from hell, and the nonstop attitude of we dont give a shit you will hear us like it or not Snapstick Dynomite will be one of the bands to watch in the very near future and promises to hit the ground running and not look back with any regrets. Lookout fuckers, were taking over!
