Quarter Pound…giving some of the best un-seduced original music money can’t buy. We are a progressive rock band with a sound that touches many styles. Rather than being assumed predictable, we give a range from Reggae, Rock & Roll, Blues, Metal, Ballets, Acoustic, Punk, Grunge and Rap. We are even throwing in some Bag Pipers and a Drum line for drink’n buddies.
Upon forming Q.P. Uncle Sam came to borrow our Lead Guitarist (Marcus). We (Paul and I) decided to put everything on ice. We played un-plugged for a few coffee shops and open jam night to see how the crowd took to the style. The response was good so we pressed on.
Some time passed before we met Trevor (former Lead Guitarist) and Jason (former Drummer) and it became clear to take Q.P. to the next level. We rolled up a CD of 10 tunes within six – seven months, played only weekend shows for the first year, and managed to play with some of Denver’s most wanted. Coming strait out the gate that strong can change things, but never the less Q.P. was evolving.
Uncle Sam mailed us our Lead Guitarist (Marcus) and we managed to pick up a new Drummer (Boyd) from the lost & found. Now with the change in staff and the new addition to our ranks, down time is not in vein. We have been hard at work in the lab and the music has taken on an epic range. Again, we want to send out prop’s to everyone who gave us the hook-ups (including those shots). Those who helped get us in the door (without even hearing us). The sound-men that don’t @%#* with us or our equipment. The bands and people that hung around a little longer to listen (you know who you are). Last, but not least, the TRUE friends help’n us blowup Denver.
Expect nothing less than our best.
~ Q.P.
