Q-Burns Abstract Message is Michael Donaldson, resident of Central Florida, Eighth Dimension label co-head, DJ, and obsessive studio tinkerer. He has recorded EP’s and singles for such labels as Mephitsto, Sunburn, and Delancey
Street (UK). On top of this, he somehow finds time to do numerous remixes as well as contribute tracks to the compilations Sunshine State of Mind (ffrr), Deep Concentration (Om), and Audio Alchemy 1 & 2 (ubiquity). Michael has remixed the likes of US3, Faith No More, Dirty Beatniks (Wall Of Sound), Better Daze, and Mephisto Odyssey. A skilled DJ, he can be found as resident at the 8D collective’s Phat and Jazzy club night and was invited by the Chemical Brothers to join them as guest DJ on Southeastern leg of their Spring ‘97 tour.
