Fat Mama
Designed and manufactured in war-torn Boulder Colorado in the spring of 1996, Fat Mama began special forces training as an elite squadron of droid improvisers. Each droid was given a special musical gift, including bebop, teen-pop, reggae, rocksteady, and electro. The sound and style of fighting that emerged is an amalgom of techno, trip-hop, drunken-monkey funk, post-bop, post-Raisen Bran, and post-up, poppin’ threes in the clutch. Improvisation is the mothership on which these jazz freedom-fighters travel.
