A Void
Started in late Oct. 2003, A VOID, a new band from Castle Rock CO has been turning heads. Started by members of the infamous defunct band, DYSARRANGED, and a couple new faces, they forged a new style that can only be described as fast paced melodic hardcore. In a sea of the new “emo” sound A VOID stands out as a force to be reckoned with. Catchy, yet undeniably hard rocking, their music is appreiciated by all. Mike (ex No Pun Intended) provides the punk rock/hardcore roots via drumming his ass off which consists of breaking drum heads, sticks and sets repeatedly. Matt (ex Banana Hammock), a musical whiz, brings a new spin on the Matt Freeman style of bass. Bryan and Justin (ex Dysarranged) lay down the guitars and vocals of experience and talent, and the two of them have a new wave “4th” generation style of play. This powerful quartet is poised to take over. A VOID plans to tour often so chances are you will see them in your town soon…
