7 Fold

his is a little about our group…... Seven and Gin make up the group 7 Fold. They had both previously been performing solo. Seven wrote, played, produced, and performed all his own tracks. Gin wrote lyrics, performed, and worked with other producers. They both grew up in the streets of Colorado performing wherever they could. Seven and Gin came together with a similar story. They both had life altering car accidents and were forced to put their music on hold for recovery. Each had his own story but both of them had a strong desire to pursue a career in music. They merged and formed 7 Fold. At that point they felt they found the final ingredient that each of them had lacked as a solo artist. Gin raps and writes. Seven sings, raps, writes, and bangs out their tracks on his instrument of choice the keyboard. They both take part in the production from start to finish. This is why they’re style is so original. Their style ranges from a jazzy r&b sound to straight up hip-hop. One of the ear catching things about 7 Fold is that they bring a real sound with edgy lyrics and yet rarely curse. They believe in freedom of speech but not lack of vocabulary and skill. Their belief is that if every other word is the same profanity it starts to lose it’s meaning. This results in more lyrical prowess and a product with songs that are not too explicit for their younger audience. Of course they love they’re hip-hop pure and unedited, so there are a few explicit tracks. 7 Fold is banging out new tracks all the time and are on their way to finishing their first album as a group. Regardless of your preference of genre they’ve got something to make you bounce. Look out for more from this two young men and others from within the 7 Fold crew.
